I want to share some words of Wisdom with you that was shared with me by a good friend.

With Money you can buya house but Not a home.
With Money you can buy a clock but Not time.
With Money you can buy a bed but Not sleep.
With Money you can buy a book but Not knowledge.
With Money you cans see a doctor but Not good health.
With Money you can buy a position but Not respect.
With Money you can but sex but Not love.
With Money you can buy blood but Not Life.

I'd just like to add to the list:

Since, the recent publicized issue of race that has unfolded in this weeks political happenings. I felt compelled to write this Poem.

Black is Beautiful why can't you see.
Black is the reason you want to be me
Black is the truth it always stands tall,
It never alters, it never falls.

You sold me to the highest bidder
And stripped all of my Soul,
No matter What I will always be bold
You Fear my body, my beauty, my Brain
because you knew one day I will REIGN.

"We have all been faced (publicly) with the harsh reality of racism. I have always known it still exist. Behind closed doors perhaps, but nevertheless it remains in our hearts. I suspect there are people maybe many and not few who strongly believe they are still superior to blacks because they are white. Fear and lies are what binds ignorant thoughts and actions. When the stakes are high and power is threatened. We now see racism in an open ugly fashion that I hoped we had progressed from".

Looks like we still have more work to do.

I am assuming that my readers are involved or at least abreast of the happenings in this years Presidential election. Given the fact that I am a first time voter. I have never been this heavily involved in politics EvEr. I'm talking donating, volunteering, advocating, supporting, emailing etc. I have taken time out of my busy schedule to do whatever it takes (within reason) to elect Barack Obama as President. So, here's my question to you.

Q........ Why is it that so many Americans both black and white (but mostly white) are willing to vote for George W. Bush surrogate (John McCain) who clearly represents the same failed Bush policies.

My Answer.......It so saddens me that folks would much rather have a white man continue to f**k up our country rather than give a black man (who clearly has the potential) a chance to make it better.

Now, that's sum Bull...ish!
