My Barack Experience

For those of u who know me, knows that a I am a avid supporter of Barack Obama. Some would say I have Obamaphillia (u know like the Obama girl on you tube) . But in fact Nothing could be further from the truth. I am passionate about his message because I believe it. I see his vision and I share it with him. I got the opportunity to meet him at one of his town hall meetings here in the queen city. He is a tall in height, slender and light skinned with big ears lol).

The crowd was plentiful and fired up as I expected. There wasn't an empty seat in the house. The assembly felt powerful like we were all in agreement and his words rang loud and clear that truly touched me. He talked about all the issues that he normally talks about at these events such as the war, health care, education......you know the rest.

Many questions were asked including teen pregnancy, black on black crime, the war, and
Dafur. He answered each question fairly with eloquence as he normally speaks. There was a calm peaceful demeanor in his body language and his aura. All in all it was a very exhilarating experience that I am glad I was apart of. In the end this experience has further reconfirmed why Barack Obama gets my vote and why I believe he is the right person to be President of the United States of America. I wish all my readers could experience history as I have at this blessed event.

I knew you were going to enjoy the experience because you are a Obama FIEN!
Obama is the man (no denying), and he would be a great leader.
I'm just worried about his position in the race now because of the statement that he made about the 'typical white person'. It's going to effect him badly.

Chuuuuuch!

I knew someone who attended one of his campaign rallies and they said the exact same thing as you. They said he had this regal quality about him. Glad that you enjoyed your experience.

Thanks for your feedback Uzezi. I understand that there are some people who will not share the same feelings as I. The way I see it weather he wins or not. He has made it possible for my children's children to one day aspire to be president and that dream is now attainable. In my eyes he is already a winner.

If he does win and he does not deliver. Oh well He would not be the first.

You hit the nail on the head! I giggled throughout this blog. My parents had a remote control...it was me. I changed the channels for them and had to adjust the bunny ears. If you asked kids to day what bunny ears are they would look at you like you are from another planet. I love this blog.
