What is your purpose?

Have you ever ask yourself...What is my purpose in life?....what is my calling? what was I put on this earth to do? Why am I here? How can I impact some one's life. More importantly, how can we impact our own lives. For some of us it takes a lifetime to find the answer to this question and for others the answer is clear.

In my humble opinion our purpose in life has been ordained for us even before we were born. However it's up to us to realize it and then utilize it accordingly. I have come to suspect that we sometimes make things harder than it has to be. (smiling, I am so guilty of this). The answer to this question is not hard to find. While some people's life and circumstances may be different from mine. Here's food for thought. I have concluded that whatever our purpose is in life we MUST all seek to find it. That is why we are all here. Isn't it?

The only person that knows our purpose in life is God.
It's our job to do something with our life and find that purpose.

In my blog post Do I Count, I ponder those same questions.

You'll never know the answer until you find yourself.

Again I have to agree...We have to seek God to find our real purpose in life. Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed thee, I knew thee, I ordained thee as a Prophet unto the nation...." Simply saying that were assigned a divine purpose even before we were born!

Thx for the comments Crys C and ananymous. I am inclined to agree with both of you. However there are are so many people that don't really believe is God and believe more in themselves (I know I can't understand that either). But isn't it always easier said than done?

Congrats wordaholic on you reaching out to become a teacher, and wanting to fulfill you purpose. Until purpose is discovered, existence has no meaning, for purpose is the source of fulfillment, Dr. Myles Monroe.

Purpose is the master of motivation and the mother of commitment. When nations, societies, communities, friendships, marriages, clubs, churches countries or tribes lose their sense of purpose and significance, then confusion, frustration, discouragement, disillusionment and corporate suicide whether gradual or instant regin.(Dr. Myles Monroe) for this point I salute you in your pursuit!

Principles of Success

Whatever is missing your life is something you don’t greatly value. You only get what you passionately pursue. It is highly important that you have desperation for what you want. (Finally) Your life is whatever your willing to accept it be.
